This is the most used and main target for PHP- The PHP parser (CGI or server module), a web server and a web browser.

• Command line scripting: make a PHP script to run without any server or browser; used PHP for simple text processing tasks.
• Writing desktop applications

-Advanced PHP features in client-side applications; use of PHP;

– write cross-platform applications
